It's not right to lock children in the dark.

On the other hand, it's not right to cause untold heartache on a rumour and a bit of gossip!

If you are sure that there is abuse going on, you must report it, for the sake of the children and their future.

But if you get it wrong - or don't do what's right for those kids, then you could make it worse, or break up the family for nothing.

Accusations of child abuse never, ever go away.

On the other hand, are they just a bit ignorant, and need help managing the kids. Can you help them?
